A Nigerian bride, Kassandra Okafor has recounted how straight out of a toxic relationship, she met and married her husband in a month, true to her mother’s dream.
According to her, in 2017 her mother had a dream that she and her younger sister would get married that year. She laughed it off saying she just came out of a toxic relationship. In March, her younger sister’s bride price was paid and her wedding was fixed for December. Surprisingly, Kassandra met her husband – who she happens to also share the same birthday with – in November and they got married the next month, four days before her sister!

Gospel, John 1:35-42
Reading 1, First John 3:7-10
7 Children, do not let anyone lead you astray. Whoever acts uprightly is upright, just as he is upright.

8 Whoever lives sinfully belongs to the devil, since the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. This was the purpose of the appearing of the Son of God, to undo the work of the devil.

9 No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is a child of God.

TREM Daily Devotional 4 January 2018- GOD IS LOVE

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” 1 John 4:8 KJV

Love is not optional for the believer. We are not advised to love. Love must be our nature because God is love. When you invited Jesus into your life, the fullness of love came into you. You have the full capacity of love, but you must activate it. When you understand love, you will discover that it is impossible to walk in Christ and not walk in love.
