    Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju, yesterday said he has taken up the challenge by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and had agreed to write a petition against National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu. He said the petition will be submitted today. And true to his words, he was at the EFCC office this morning to summit his petition.

Court Remands Maina’s Son At Police Special Tactical Squad


     The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has remanded Faisal Maina at the Police Special Tactical Squad. Faisal Maina who is the son of former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), Abdulrasheed Maina was arraigned on Friday by the Economic and Finacial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Supreme Court upholds Governor Nyesom Wike’s election

 

  Nyesom Wike's election as the Governor of Rivers State has been upheld by the Supreme court.  A petition filed by the African Action Congress (AAC) and its candidate in the 2019 governorship election, Awara Biokpomabo Festus which was upheld by the Court of Appeal was upturned by the Supreme Court in its ruling on Friday October 25.

141 Stranded Nigerians In Libya Returned To Nigeria


    The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Thursday received another batch of 141 stranded Nigerian returnees from Libya.
