Fellow Citizens,

On Saturday, February 16, 2019, you will, once again, be called upon to choose the leaders who will pilot the affairs of our great nation for the next four years. This is a constitutional right which should be freely exercised by all eligible voters. CONTINUE

2. I wish therefore to start by assuring all Nigerians that this Government will do its very best to ensure that the 2019 elections take place in a secure and peaceful atmosphere.

3. It was indeed such free, fair and peaceful elections that made it possible for our Government to emerge, despite the fact that we were contesting against a long-standing incumbent party.

4. And as your president and a fellow Nigerian, I ask that you come out and queue to fulfill this important obligation you have to yourselves and your fellow citizens – and to our common future.

5. Let me at this point, reaffirm the commitment of the Federal Government to the conduct of free and fair elections in a safe and peaceful atmosphere. Just yesterday, I signed the Peace Accord alongside 72 other presidential candidates.

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet….for this my son…was lost, and is found. – Luke 15:21-22, 24

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you . . . — John 14:27

Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” Where does peacemaking begin? How can we become peacemakers? Can peace be discovered within ourselves? Freud has told us that peace is but a mental attitude. Cast off our phobias, shed our neuroses, and “bingo!”-we’ll have the coveted peace we long for. I respect psychiatry for what it can do.

Challenges come to every home; what makes the difference between one home and the other is wisdom. From the scripture above, the “rock” is the Word of God and that rock is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Word of God. The “storm” has to do with challenges that every family faces. The “sand” represents human philosophies ideologies, tradition, and so on.

Topic: In Christ, Signs Follow The Believer [TREM Devotional 15 February 2019]
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” Mark 16:17 KJV

The scripture says clearly, that in the name of Jesus the believer has the power to cast out devils. Therefore no devil is bigger than Jesus. There is no power greater than the name of Jesus. He is bigger than the biggest. He is higher than the highest. And He is greater than the greatest. This God is supernatural and many times, His supernatural manifestations are so natural. And that is why people don’t believe it.

Read: Exodus 2:15-20 (KJV)

15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

17 And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.

18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?
