TREM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 3RD OCTOBER 2019 TOPIC: YOU ARE CHOSEN FOR HIS PURPOSE

TREM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 3RD OCTOBER 2019 TOPIC: YOU ARE CHOSEN FOR HIS PURPOSE
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and Bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you’’
John 15:16 KJV

Beloved it was God who chose you! It was not your choice. Amongst the over 7 billion people in the world, God chose you. God knows all about your weaknesses and strength, your good and your bad, yet He says ‘you are my chosen.’ He chose you in spite of what you have done in the past. Jeremiah’s conversation with God suffices. But God told him, “Before I formed you, I knew  you. While you were yet in your mother’s womb, I ordained you as a prophet to the nations’’. (Jeremiah 1:5). He chose him and the man was trying to make excuses for God. He  said ‘all your excuses are inexcusable.’

He reveals profound mysteries beyond man’s understanding. He knows all hidden things, for he is light . . . —Daniel 2:22 (TLB)

The fact of the matter is that science and faith complement each other, and there is no conflict between true science and true religion. Together they give the best foundation for wholesome faith and courage for daily living. When Galileo, the father of modern science, discovered that the earth revolved, instead of the sun moving around the earth, certain religious leaders were greatly disturbed, for they held another theory. But eventually they were reconciled.

Topic: Avoid Big Failures [Kenneth Copeland Devotional 3 October 2019]

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness. – Ephesians 4:17-19

There’s a subtle strategy Satan uses to take control of our lives. The Bible calls it lasciviousness and it means “to have no restraint.”

Matthew 24:38 ‘For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,’

MATTHEW 24:38-39

Jesus is prophesying that just as in Noah’s day, people will be dominated with the temporary affairs of this life instead of eternal spiritual truths, when Jesus returns. Before our Lord’s second return, there will be plenty of signs to show that the time is drawing near, but few will heed them. Preoccupation with the affairs of this life can dull us to the spiritual realm.

Open Heaven 3 October 2019 Thursday Daily Devotional By Pastor E. A. Adeboye – The Character of Forgiveness

Memorise: Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. – Colossians 3:13

Read: Colossians 3:12-15 (KJV)

12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
