Billy Graham Daily Devotional 28th October 2019- Genuine Love

. . . being knit together in love . . .
—Colossians 2:2
Thousands of young couples go through with a loveless marriage because no one ever told them what genuine love is. I believe we need to read the 13th chapter of First Corinthians, in which the Apostle Paul gives us a definition of love.

Kenneth Copeland Daily Devotional 28th October 2019- Enjoy the Victory

But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57, The Amplified Bible

Victors! More than conquerors! That's what the Bible says we are. I know you've heard that many times before, but today I want you to let the reality of it really sink in. I want you to spend some time meditating about what those terms actually mean.

Memorise: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33

Read: Genesis 21:5-14 (KJV)

5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

8 And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son.

12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

Trem Daily Devotional 27th October 2019- YOU ARE GOD’S CHOSEN

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:’’
Ephesians 1:4 KJV

God does not choose like human beings do. Humans can just look at you and say:  “You  are finished! No hope in God for you!  You are just wasting your time! It is already too late!” But I have come to let you know that you are chosen. God is the one that made the choice despite your weakness. Our text today tells us that He made the choice when you were not even born yet. He decided where you would end even before you were born. You have a glorious future. So, stop looking at where you are now. Let no man write you off. You will not end a disaster. You will not end a failure.

JOHN 16:33

Kenneth Copeland Daily Devotional 27th October 2019- Take Your Place

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ...and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:4-6

Billy Graham Daily Devotional 27th October 2019- True Colors

God carefully watches the goings on of all mankind . . .
—Job 34:21 (TLB)
There is an old story that tells about a pig. . . . The farmer brought the pig into the house. He gave him a bath, polished his hooves, put some Chanel No. 5 on him, put a ribbon around his neck, and put him in the living room. The pig looked fine. He made a nice and companionable pet for a few minutes.
